hi, i'm Dan

i grew up in janaúba, in the countryside of brazil, and built my academic path through ifnmg, ufmg, and link - studying technology, business, and eventually finding my way into startups.

these days i'm exploring ai + retail inventory. i was born into a family of commerce owners, and it still bothers me how much money gets trapped in inventory that may never be sold.

i decided to fully focus on this and left passionfroot, which i had originally joined after cold messaging the founders while on an exchange program in berlin. i ended up working across operations, growth, customer success, and product. from intern to associate, i helped scale gmv more than 100x, ran product mvps manually, and did a few other cool things along the way.

big fan of cruzeiro and endurance sports (ran the frankfurt marathon). now in the 20-something phase of planning trips for surfing, skiing, mountaineering, and spearfishing lol.
